A winter warmer spiced Stout. Based on Fred Bonjour's Beersmith Recipe.

Grain Bill:

  • 2-row (16.00 lbs)
  • Roasted Barley (1.00 lb)
  • Caramel Malt - 80L 6-Row (0.75 lbs)
  • Chocolate (0.75 lbs)
  • Caramel/Crystal Malt (0.50 lbs)
  • Special B Malt (0.25 lbs)

Hops:

  • Pearle AA 7.80 % (2.0 oz, 60 minutes)
  • Fuggle (1oz, dry hop)

Other:

  • Cloves (1.0 tsp, 15 min)
  • Alspice (2.0 tsp, 15 min)
  • Sweet Orange Peel (3 oz, 45 min)
  • Cinnamon Stick (1 stick, 45 min)
  • Ginger Root (3 oz, 45 min)

Yeast:

  • Belgian Strong Ale (Wyeast 1388) reused from Home Skillet Scotch Ale
