Wildfire Imperial Amber

A cherry version of our Imperial Amber

Fermentables:

  • 2 row (120 lbs)
  • Crystal 60L (1 lb)
  • Crystal 120L (1 lb)
  • Caramalt (1 lb)
  • German Munich (1 lb)
  • 2lbs Cherries / gallon (post-barrel aging)

Hops:

  • Chinook (1 oz Boil 60 minutes)
  • Chinook (1 oz Boil 10 minutes)
  • Amarillo Hops (3 oz Dry Hop)

Yeast:

  • American Ale Yeast (Wyeast 1056)

Aged in a Whiskey Barrel for 2 months and then re-fermented with cherries for another month.

Results in a smooth amber with whiskey, wood, and cherry undertones.
